A li'l fun at my colleague's b'day...

A day of mixed reaction...one member was leaving us forever and another member had entered into a new year...Farewell and Birthday all on the same day...yet the funda was just one...

Welcome with smile, Goodbye with a smile.

A new day...

Today just made me think, made me look back at what I had left behind. Today when someone was leaving from a team which found itz birth in him. Today when he stood in the middle of emotions, unable to comprehent unable to express. Today when I was at the spectators chair...I remembered my days.

What have I left behind? A bunch of people who screamed at me for reasons unknown, a group of girls always trying to teach me things that never seemed to rock my brains, a boy taking full authority of calling him my brother or an insane guy trying to refute me in everything I did...well probably I should not miss any of these but why now that I am away do I look forward to have more of those people around???

A new day but old thoughts...

Mumbai Meri Jaan!

Aye dil hai mushkil jeena yaha…
Zara hat ke zara back ke yeah hai Mumbai meri jaan…
Kahi janaat kahi slumdog kahi loffar kahi mehfil…
Jo milta nahi yaha toh milta nahi Dil…

That’s true, Mumbai the big city, bigger than I could ever imagine, you get everything here, just name it; you will get it but one thing that no matter what you will never get is a breather…Running souls trying to catch up with every passing minute, ruthless race for deadlines and for everything that exists and yet all so very material. Yes this is Mumbai, you starve for warmth, but then there is the other side too…Itz a place which smells of challenge and attitude. Jo haar gaya woh sala kaam se gaya.

Young or old everybody talks in English rather I was amazed to hear everyone travelling in trains speak in English, and mind you no hinglish it’s English. Padhle likho ka sehar hai yeh…chalet e raho, jagte raho…

Seven islands joined to form this Bindaas city and probably it will take another seventy years for any other city to become Mumbai afterall the bargain is not easy…the deal is “ Give emotions get rich, give humility get fame, give yourself get everything else”…

Bach ke rehna, yeah hai Mumbai meri jaan!
